We hold monthly competitive table shows as follows, which are open to paid-up Branch members only.
Exhibiting guidelines should be consistent with the latest BCSS Handbook of Shows.
Summer Table Show
March to June and August to October inclusive
Class A Cacti up to 5¾” (15cm) pot size
Class B Succulents up to 5¾” (15cm) pot size
Class C Plant in flower, unlimited pot size
Up to two plants can be entered in each of the above three classes
Class D 1 Cactus and 1 Succulent, unlimited pot size
Class E 1 Cactus or 1 Succulent, unlimited pot size
Class F Two plants up to 2¾” (7cm) pot size, judged as a pair
Class G Any relevant novelty
Plus occasional specific classes to highlight particular genera.
Winter Table Show
November to February inclusive
Class A 1 Succulent
Class B 1 Succulent in flower
Class C Any relevant novelty
Unlimited pot size. One entry per class
If placed, a particular plant can only be entered once in each class during the competition
We award a number of trophies during the year.
