We hold monthly competitive table shows as follows, which are open to paid-up Branch members..
Exhibiting guidelines should be consistent with the latest BCSS Handbook of Shows.
Summer Table Show
March to June and August to October inclusive
Class A: 1 Cactus up to 8” (20cm) pot size
Class B: 1 Other Succulents up to 8” (20cm) pot size
Class C: Plant in flower, unlimited pot size
Class D: 1 Cactus up to 8” (20cm) pot size (newcomers to growing and showing)
Class E: 1 Other Succulent up to 8” (20cm) pot size (newcomers to growing & showing)
Up to 2 plants can be entered in each of the above 5 classes. Enter A,B or D,E not both
Class F: Any relevant novelty
Plus occasional specific classes to highlight particular genera.
Winter Table Show Nov to Feb inclusive
Class A: 1 Other Succulent
Class B: 1 Other Succulent in flower,
Class C: 1 Other Succulent (open to newcomers to growing and showing)
Class D: Any relevant novelty
unlimited pot size, one entry per class. Enter A or C not both
If placed, a particular plant can only be entered once in each class during the competitions.
